HOMOHOP in ALBUQUERQUE!

Deep Dickollective is a Queer African-American Hip Hop Collective founded in Oakland! Winners of Out's Top Ten Gay Albums of 2004 and were the subject of the documentary "Pick Up the Mic" (Alex Hinton). Deep Dickollective have been performing and generally kicking ass for a very long time. Don't be skurred!

God-des and She have played sold out shows at the famed Knitting Factory, opened up for MC LYTE and Slick Rick, performed at the Supper Club for the Showtime/GO NYC magazine L WORD Party and performed countless other high profile gigs.

Entry Fee: $2 per entry
The absolute deadline for entries is 12:45 GDT (Gay Daylight Time) or 1 pm MDT (Mountain Daylight Time).
Ribbons will be awarded in the following Categories:
Best Pie
Best Cake
Best Cookies
Best Bars/Brownies
Anything else
AND
Best of Show ------- Over the Top ------- Queerest
Depending on the number of entries, some sub-categories may be added.

Rules:
1. All entries must be homemade.
2. Recipe must be turned in with your entry. This rule will be enforced.
3. No whipped cream.
4. All items become the property of WIMIN and recipes will be auctioned off. Please package/prepare your entry in a container you don't expect to get back. Some plastic containers and wrap will be available.
5. The decisions of the esteemed judges are final.

Come enjoy the poetry of our favorite local, queer poets hosted by Albuquerque's own Mary Oishi! You might see someone you know or get a chance to share your own words!

There will also be a queer 50/50 raffle fundraiser for WIMIN so we can bring you kick-ass queer performers!
Look for WIMIN selling tickets at the parade and pridefest!
Tickets are $1/each or 10 tickets for $5!!
The drawing will be held after Q-WORDS and you don't gots to be there to win!
FYI: a 50/50 raffle means the winner gets half the pot! The more people who buy tix, the more $ the winner wins...
